Haliburton Highlands Trekkers is a membership club. While you’re welcome to accompany an outing once or twice without being a member, it is the cohesion of membership that brings the group to life. Members enjoy the camaraderie of outings and social picnics or lunches afterwards. Your membership coincides with the calendar year – January thru’ December. However, if you join up during fall hike season you’ll automatically be rolled into the next year’s membership cycle.
Not sure if your Membership is up-to-date?? Fire off a query through our Contact form. If you are ready to renew, or join – please print the Membership Form here. If you’re already a Trekker – you can find useful information (including the current schedule) at the page > For Members
As the Haliburton Highlands Trekkers club is a 100% volunteer organization that reflects your interests, we ask you to consider if you could pitch in to lead, co-lead or act as ‘sweep’ on one or two outings a year. You might enjoy serving on the Management Committee, which meets about four times a year to plan seasonal outings and the annual TGM, the Trekkers General Meeting. Please click onto Volunteer Contact.
If you have innovative ideas to make the Trekkers better – we want to hear from you!
