Haliburton Highlands Trekkers is a membership club. While you’re welcome to accompany an outing once or twice without being a member, it is the cohesion of membership that brings the group to life. Members enjoy the camaraderie of outings and social picnics or lunches afterwards. Your membership coincides with the calendar year – January thru’ December. However, if you join up during fall hike season you’ll automatically be rolled into the next year’s membership cycle.

As the Haliburton Highlands Trekkers club is a 100% volunteer organization that reflects your interests, we ask you to consider if you could pitch in to lead, co-lead or act as ‘sweep’ on one or two outings a year. You might enjoy serving on the Management Committee, which meets about four times a year to plan seasonal outings and the annual TGM, the Trekkers General Meeting.
